The program is supported by the Financial Accounting Skills Enhancement (FASE) initiative, the Public Financial Management Information System (PFMIS), and Austria’s Ministry of Finance.
The ATDSS is designed to help students progress at their own pace while strengthening financial management skills. It aims to prepare graduates for roles in accounting, finance, auditing, and taxation.
Officials said the program will enhance the capacity of financial professionals and support ongoing economic reform efforts in the country. It is also expected to equip accounting personnel with the skills needed to promote transparency and accountability in public financial management.
The diploma program is structured in two levels: a Foundation level focusing on core accounting and business principles, and an Advanced level covering financial reporting, taxation, and management accounting.
