The distribution ceremony, held at the county headquarters, targets seven farmer groups comprising about 30 members each. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen local farming capacity and enhance food production across the area.
According to the Gogrial West County Director for Agriculture, Kuel Madit Kuel, and the County Chairperson of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Paul Deng Mel, the support will be evenly distributed among the seven groups formed to combat hunger through improved agricultural productivity.
The project is designed to increase farm output and help communities overcome persistent food insecurity affecting the region.
Meanwhile, the Acting Executive Director, Wek Deng Kuanyin, urged farmers to adhere to ForAfrika’s guidelines and take full advantage of the early rains by expanding cultivation and maximizing land use this farming season.
